Project description
Together with a group of enthusiastic volunteers and our production & building partners, the first full (re-engineered) Maggie 2.0 was built at Bleydebergschool in Wilsele. The newest model of the Maggie Shelter is already in full use and serves as 2 kindergarten classes with a storage and sanitary room in between.
This 16th Maggie is also part of our circular North-South model to be build up again in a developing country in a couple of years. By working together on site with a local partner, the shelter will continue to serve as a school to provide access to education to disadvantaged children for at least another 15 years.
Maggie goes to Wilsele is our third ‘rent, donate, connect,’-project.
